Potli Achar (Shredded Mango Pickle) is a Traditional Sindhi Pickle. This recipe is from Peergoth, Sindh Pakistan and is passed on from generation to generation. 

Earlier, it was made in Muslin Cloth Bags, which is called Potli in Sindhi, hence the name Potli Achar.  With passage of time, the recipe has become rare and only few people follow the original recipe. That is why Potli Achar is not available at many places in India.
